I Am NOT A Bed Hog

Hi Pals,

Do I look like I'm hogging the bed to you?    M says I'm a bed hog sometimes. Geeeeesh!

Usually I wait for M to turn out the light and get comfy, then I come hopping into bed.   She then moves over to give me a little room cuz I like to sleep side-ways on the bed instead of the long way.   It's just more comfy that way.

This particular night I got in bed while M was still reading (hint hint - turn out the light please).   Finally she got the hint, got up to hit the human litter box and take her night pills.   When she got out of bed she saw this little Angel Kitty sleeping next to her, so she just had to take my picture.   Now do I have her fooled or what!!  he he  She still says I'm a bed hog tho cuz I sleep on her side of the bed and expect her to sleep on the other side.  I don't see a problem - it's a BIG BED!

Are you a  bed hog?

Mario

  1. Oh Mario, we are all bed hogs. Our Person is lucky to have 5 inches of the bed. We just take over so don't feel badly about it. Hope all of you have a great day.

  3. Well I'M not a bed hog...but a certain orange hog-kitten sure is!!! You should SEE him! He'll horn in on Glogirly's pillow while she's laying on it. He'll actually push her out of his way. The nerve!!!

  4. We are only allowed to sleep on the bed when Daddy is away. Cosmo is the bed hog and literally pushes Mommy, slowly but surely off the bed.

  7. Are you sure about that, Mario? In our opinion, there's nothing wrong with being a bed hog. In fact, it is preferred, dontcha think? ;)

  8. You got the right idea, Mario. I did a post about this a few months ago cos a certain furrend of ours was sleeping on the very edge of the bed. I have my own pillow but lately I've been sleeping right between TW's pillow and mine. It's even funnier cos she has those cat allergies and I'm right in her face.

  9. You are not a bed hog, you are too sweet to be called that :-) And it is a great idea to switch sides from time to time. It keeps firmness of the bed even, right?

  10. Oh you ARE an angel and you sound like one too. Mom and I are enchanted with your sweet throaty meows. So tiny and small, those little entreaties. I hope your M tells efurrybuddy what a smooth operator you are!

  11. None of us come close to the cat before the cat before me, the skinny black half-Siamese guy. He could take over my human's king sized bed and leave almost no room for her - and I don't think he was even as big as Binga, which means he was well under 10 lbs.

  13. We think it's the humans who take up too much space in OUR bed at night!

  15. Mario,
Boo likes to curl up between Mom's knees! That means she can't turn over!

Thank you for all of your purrs and prayers for my dear Abby we so appreciate your care.

  16. Most of us are bed hogs and love to sleep horizontally. Even though the humans have a king-sized bed, just think of what it is like with the two of them and five or six of us. Once your in bed, if you are a human, you are IN bed. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

  17. You're not a bed hog, Mario! After all, you are nice enough to SHARE with your Mom, right? :)

    Hugs!

Moosey (also not a bed hog)!

  18. I also lay sideways on the bed. I make the middle of an "H" between my peeps. They complain, but hey I deserve the middle of the bed.

It's not my fault that our kitty Moe sleeps on the other side of my mom person so she can't turn over in the night without moving one of us!

  19. Oreo is a big bed hog. It's a king size bed and you would think two humans and one little dog would have plenty of room. Nope, we each get a side close to the edge and he gets all the middle.

  20. woo hoo!! TOTALLY!! And Mom or Dad BOTH move just to give me room...they worry I may be psychologically damaged if I don't have enuff room!! SCORE!!!

  21. Mario, you look purrfectly normal there! Not only do we each have our own favorite spot with our own favorite pillows, the mom can only sleep in the center of the bed, and no moving please! She is so well trained, she stays in one position until she wakes up.

  26. Mario, my man... I'm lookin' at the picture and I'm seein' tonnes & tonnes & TONNES of unused space on that bed. I don't think you're hoggin' it at all.

  27. Ahahahaha!!! "Human litter box" - that's so stinkin funny!!!

Thankfully, Blueberry is not much of a bed hog. I have a California King and she has her side with a pillow and she pretty much stays on that side. My last dog Shadow though - she was only about 50 pounds but man, she was a serious bed hog. I can't tell you how many times I would have only 3 inches to sleep on because of her!

No, you don't look like much of a bed hog...teeheehee

  29. I think you might be a bed hog, but that's ok. You are the most precious one on the bed, so you should have plenty of room.

  30. Wow you are a lucky cat.
I have to share the bed with 5 furs.
