Chippie's - Thankful Thursday

Hi Pals,

I'm so thankful that M feeds the Birdies and Chipmunks cuz this is what I get to see out the window every morning.   Sorry the picture isn't the best, but it was taken looking through the screen.

See how long this guy is?   WOW -  and can he ever fun fast.   One day when I was out in my leash and harness, he was hiding in M's Hosta bed and neither she nor D knew it - until he decided to make a run for it.

Of course nothing gets past my super-ray eyes, so I took off after him and chased him all the way across the yard (with D in tow) and into another Flower bed.

I never did get him, but there is always next time.

I'm thankful we have a Chippie in our yard and that M feeds him and the birdies.  Oh, M says during the summer she can fill that  feeder every day and by night the Chippie has stashed it all away in his hidey hole for the long winter..

Join our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop pals and meet new friends.  Thanks to PepiSmartDog again for hosting it.

Excuse me now while I go hunt some more that that Chippie.

Mario

  3. We used to sit at the back door and watch the squirrels and chipmunks. They popped out of their holes, ate pecans on the porch steps, and were entertaining. We haven't seen them since the dog pen was put up but there are squirrels in the tree beside the pen.

  5. Awww I love "chippies" too but Mom isn't allowed to feed them anymore. She caused a problem with "chippie" and "squirrel" overload in our apt/condo building MOL!

  6. Oh that chippy sure is a sweetie. I'm droolin' over him, already. No peepers... I'm just droolin' over his cuteness, that's all. Yeah... that's all.

  9. We're glad that M keeps that feeder full! We know the birds and Chippy appreciate it. When mom fills our feeder, she says she's paying the Kitty TV Cable bill!

  20. I feed the birds and squirrels here too and Happy Cat loved that!!! She spend hours watching them all.
Our 3 now watch them from the window b/c they are only inside cats now and that is good with 40 families going to live next door!!!

  27. We don't have any chipmunks but Dad keeps three feeders full at all times for the squirrels and birds. And we really appreciate it 'cause we spend all our days on the catio when the weather is good. Your chipmunk is very large…seems as if you all have been keeping him well-fed. 29. Hi it's nice to meet you Mario. You are lucky to have a chipmunk to watch. We have a good time watching birds at the feeders. We used to feed a squirrel too. The squirrel went away though, so now we see an occasional gopher and lots of birds.
