Happy Thanksgiving From Our House to Your House

Hi Pals,

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be a turkey with the thought of being someone's dinner on Thanksgiving?   I don't think it sounds like much fun.  But, guess what M and D will be having for dinner - yup - you guessed it -----turkey.   They love it and M says it's tradition!  What is your family having for dinner?

My peeps are going to my human sisfur's and SIL's house for dinner.   At least that means I'll have undisturbed nap time whenever I want it.   I hope it's sunny outside so I can have a sun puddle.

Now if you will excuse me, I think I'll start Thanksgiving Day early.

Annual Visit to the Dreaded Vet

Hi Pals,

Do you see anything wrong with the picture?   Well it was taken about 9 months ago when we were still living in the house.   But that dreaded carrier came with us to the apartment, and I got put into it on Friday to make a trip to the dreaded vet.  (M says I shouldn't say dreaded vet, cuz we have a very nice vet lady - but she's not the one getting poked and prodded!)

No there isn't anything wrong with me.   My peeps insist I go to the vet at least once a year for a check up.   Makes no sense to me when I'm feeling great.  But you know how our peeps are - they like to create a problem!   

M meant to take the camera with her, but in the excitement of  trying to get me loaded into the car, she forgot all about it.    Who wants to see a picture of me being groped and prodded anyway.  We do have this one tho and this is exactly what I did the minute they let me out of the carrier:

Vet lady said all was well.    M asked her about taking a probiotic since I'm a senior now.   She is going to prescribe something and M  will go pick it up when it comes in.

Whew - I got that visit over with for another year.  I hate this trip even more now that we moved across town and have to travel a highway to get there.   I don't like going real fast in a car or to have noisy trucks zooming by us.  It's very scary for a little kitty.  But M says there really isn't any other way to get there  and I will survive it.  How does she know??

DUH! We Finally Got It Back!

Hi Pals,

The Big Mystery of why everything in my side bar disappeared a couple of weeks ago is solved!  M finally got on the Blogger Help Forum and asked her question there.   It seems when she posted that particular post, she posted it in HTML but forgot to turn it off again before posting.   DUH!  Something so simple could cause such a big problem.   Anyway, we are very thankful that we figured out the problem and corrected it.

I'm joining Brian's Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.  We'll see if we can do this right this time.   M has been making so many mistakes that sometimes the blog hops don't work for her, but she has no clue what she did wrong.   We're trying again.   Why don't you join us!

Thankful Thursday Blog Hop and Happy Veterans Day

Hi Pals,

Since Veterans Day is Friday, I would like to dedicate this post to all veterans, past and present, who have served our country.   I know many  of you have a human dad or mom, or grandparent who have served in the military.   My D is a veteran, as is SIL (my human sisfur's husband).   We appreciate all the veterans and the sacrifices they and their families have made in protecting our country.  Many throughout the years have returned home with the loss of a arm or leg or other injuries.   That is a lot to sacrifice, so we owe them a big THANK YOU.   If you know a veteran, please take a moment to tell them "thank you for your service to keep us safe."

Caturday Art Blog Hop with Athena The Cat Goddess & Goodbye House

Hi Pals,

I is somewhat sad today cuz the peeps told me our house has been officially sold now.  The peeps attended the "closing" on Thursday.   We can't ever go back there.   That makes me a little bit sad because I used to get outside there and loved the back yard.    I haven't asked to go out yet in our apartment.  M said she isn't asking me either because she does not want to start that up again.   It's okay tho cuz I have gotten used to it here.  It's nice having M and D on the same floor cuz we have no basement for D to go to.  He and I would do "guy" stuff while down there.  he he

My art work today was done in PiZap once again.   We used an Organic Overlay in the Overlay section.  PiZap is easy to use and fun at the same time.   Give it a try some time.
