Repeat Performance - Awards

The Very Inspiring Blogger Award
Received From
Hi Pals,

Two more awards came my way again.   The Very Inspiring Blogger Award was presented to me on July 12, 2012 by Brandon and Bogart at http://Www.brandoandbogart.blogspot.com -two of the cutest little woofies you've ever seen.   I think they are King Charles Cavaliers, but I'm not 100% sure of that.   I tried to find some information on that in their bloggy tonight, but was not successful.   You need to go over and say hello tho and see for yourself.   Even if you are not a woofie person, you'll fall in love with these two guys!

There are two requirements to this award:  ! have to link back to the presenter, which I have done; and I have to present it to 15 other bloggers.   Well, I'm going to break a couple of rules as this award has been around the circuit several times.  So if you have not been given this award yet and would like it, please feel free to take it.   It is an honor to receive it, but after an award has been around the circuit so many times, one can spend hours trying to find someone who has not had it yet.  M said her back won't hold up that long. he he   Plus there are so many many worthy blogs out there.  In fact, every  blog I visit is very worthy of any award.

I'm also supposed to tell you 7 things about myself.  Well, there again, most of you that know me pretty well already know most of this stuff.   So forgive me if I repeat some things.

1.   I'm toothless and have been for 2 years now due to Stomatitis.  My entire toothie story is written up and located in one of the tabs at the top of this page.

2.   I picked out my new family myself at the shelter when they came looking for another kitty to love.  I just wrapped myself around Dad's feet and made sure I left my scent all over his pant legs.  I knew they were the ones for me.

3.   I was in the shelter for 2 months before getting adopted.  Probably because I'm black and white and no one wants a black kitty.  It's a shame M says because I'm the most lovable kitty they have ever had, and their other kitties were lovable also.

4.   I'm an indoor kitty, but am allowed to go out with my humans wearing a harness and on a leash.  D walks me around the back yard and then puts me in a KritterKondo for as long as I want to stay there.  They make sure someone is out there with me tho while I'm in the KritterKondo.

5.   I am an only kitty - there are no other kitties or woofies living here.  But my humans have had a total of 3 other kitties and a woofie over the years.

6.   My favorite toy is the Neko Flies currently.   I change my mind about once a year.  It used to be balls, then catnip toys, now the Neko Fly.   I don't know how to play by myself  - I only play when my human plays with me.

7.   I has been on Twitter for 3 years now and had my own bloggie for 2 1/2 years.

If you are interested in the very inspiring award, please take it and enjoy it.,
You are all worthy of it as each blog I read inspires me in some manner.

Now on to the next one:

Senile Saturday

Hi Pals,

My good friend @CathyKeisha asked me if I'd like to join her Senile Saturday Blog Hop once a month, so  I figured my oomans do plenty of stupid things, so why not join!  M does have her own bloggy, but I told her that for this first time she could use my bloggy.  sigh!  I guess I can be nice cuz she keeps me in kibble and plays with me.   Here's the story as she told it to me.  It happened about 18 years ago - long before my time and long before she should have been senile!

One Friday M had told D that she was going to Appleton to pick daughter up at the mall.  It seems daughter had gotten a ride home from college for the weekend and her ride would drop her off at the mall in Appleton, but M had to fetch her from there.   Then the two of them would go to our downtown mall quickly to pick up a baby gift for a shower someone was having that weekend.  Now why didn't M and daughter just go into the Mall in Appleton and shop there?  That would be too easy and then she would not have done the stupid thing she did.

M drove to Appleton, parked her car, and walked over by the big doors at the front of the mall.   She waited for awhile, when pretty soon a car drove up and dropped off daughter.   M and daughter proceeded to get into our car and drove back to Green Bay, stopping first at our local mall.  They rode the escalators up to second floor and went to the baby department.   M then told daughter she had to go to the bathroom quick, and daughter should keep looking in the infant size for a cute outfit.

After some time had passed, daughter looked up to see this crazy lady (her own mother) laughing her fool head off as she walked back into the store from the bathroom area. The crazy then proceed to tell daughter that she had walked into the bathroom, proceeded to do her thing in one of the stalls, walked back out to the sink to wash her hands and happened to look in the mirror. Looking back at her in the mirror was a M.A.N. Yes, you read it right - man as in the opposite sex. Their eyes locked in the mirror!

M said "Whoops! - am I in the wrong bathroom!"  The man replied "Yes, and you even lived to tell about it."  he he - she said she quickly finished washing and drying her hands and made fast tracks out of there laughing her head off as she met daughter in the store.  She said she was so embarrassed.  Then she whispered to daughter as she looked around the store "Let's get out of here quick."   They were still laughing when they got home and told D and their other kitty what happened.   Daughter will not let her forget it either, and keeps bringing it up at the most embarrassing times.

M hasn't gotten any better either! I can tell you that from firsthand experience. But at least she has stopped going into Men's bathrooms. See what I have to put up with!

Until next time,
Mario

Wordy Wednesday

Hi Pals,

I love my window perches that D made.  I has two of them.

 A gentle belly rub please!

D should have made this just a tad wider tho,.  he he Parts of me hang over!  Sometimes M opens the window for me, but not enough.  She says it's too HOT!.   I just know the warm sun feels good on my furs.

M has a bloggy too - it's about her and D's Parkinson's Disease.  You might find it interesting.,   http://shufflingalongwithpd.blogspot.com/

Now excuse me because I'm really exhausted and must take a nap.

I Love Company!

Hi Pals,

This was the best time ever - the visit of @MaggieTKat and @ParkerTKat's oomans -  Wanda and Ken.   They are such nice, fun people, and I just loved them.  When Ken sat down shortly after arriving, I immediately jumped up on his lap.  Well, would't you?   I knew they were anipal people and most anipal people are special and good oomans.  I didn't even put the bitey on Wanda whenever she picked me up (like I sometimes doe with M).  I just melted in her arms and enjoyed every minute of it.

We wished their visit could have been longer because they are so much fun to be with - and they really liked spoiling me.  he he - I hope they will come back again.
M didn't want her picture posted, but I told her it was only fair if she was posting our friends picture.   Oh, sorry the photos are a tiny bit blurry - he he - that's cuz my peeps get a little shaky now and then - actually a lot of the time.  M said maybe they should get something called a tripod again.  (whatever that is).

Until next time pals,

Mario
