Enough Is Enough On Thankful Thursday

Hi Pals,

Please excuse me - I'm a little rattled and mad yet but very thankful that M finally opened the door.  Here's what happened.......

I really had to yell at M this morning because she did the inexcusable - closed the bathroom door while she took a shower!   Can you imagine!   The worst part of it was that I was inside the bathroom when she did it - I was trapped in that room  with the loud, scary shower running full force!

There is no excuse for her behavior.  She knows I love the bathroom sink, so when she brushes her toothies, she runs water in the sink for me to drink.   I have to give her credit this morning because at LEAST SHE DID THAT MUCH!   Even tho I have a Drinkwell in the kitchen that I love, I still like water in the bathroom sink!  It's what she did next that has made me sooooooo mad!

After getting the water running in the shower, she walked over to the bathroom door and  CLOSED IT!  (M here - it was left cracked open at least 2 inches, so Mario could really reach thru the crack and pull the door open, but he hasn't figured that out yet).  Then when she got into the shower, she turned the water on full force and the shower curtain was puffing out, the shower was LOUD - VERY LOUD and SCARY!

The minute she steped out of the shower and onto the bathroom floor I looked at her with eyes as big and black as saucers and yelled at her at the top of my lungs.

R O  W  W  W  W  W  W  W   W  L!

(Yes, I can really let loose with a big loud one if provoked.    Before my toothies were pulled and I had all that infection, it just meowed a tiny "croak."

Of course, she  tried to apologize and say she was sorry, but I was having none of that stuff.  Enough is Enough~!  I'm just thankful that she finally opened the door and let me out!

Stay tuned,

Mario

We're back. Sorry we haven't commented much in January... With HH doing the 30 Paintings in 30 Days Challenge, we didn't have much on-line time. Now we do....

Wow. what an adventure you had this morning. We think you need some quiet time to recover.

Have a great day.

Oh MARIO! That was so thoughtless of your Mom. Give her a good talking to. And while you're talking to her, ask her to call my mom so she can hear you. She LOVES the sound of your voice. xoxoxo

Oh Mario... You need to tell your mom that when a door is open just a couple of inches like that, it's not a door waitin' to be opened by a cat. It's a jar!

hmmm Mario you know M needs you to watch over her with her PD right? I think you have to consider taking up vanity cabinet duties for all further showers so that she know you have her back, so to speak. I had to overcome my terror of the loud shower water so that I could protect my huMum every day when she has her shower. So I'm asking if you think you can "mancat up" and stand guard for M when she has her showers? Please Mario, I just know you can do it!

Oh no! I'm so sorry that you had such scary experience! Of course your M didn't mean to scare you though. Usually when I take shower, the door is wide open, but often Goro comes in and watch me :-)

OMC! That IS unexcusable! I must say I know how to open doors. I can open the door to Pop's room and the door to his closet. We have a No Closed Doors rule around this house and I suppose you have one also. Humans think they can play by their own rules. *shakes head dramatically*

Oh, no, that is inexcusable! She can not take a shower without letting you out first. We're glad you had the voice to bawl her out.

How horrible! I have trained the PM that she must leave the door open. Of course, it is just the two of us, which may make a difference. However, I watch for drain devils just outside the door; close enough to help if need be, far enough away not to get sucked into anything. P. Treasure

I've been shut in the bathroom a couple of times when my human has showed and I agree - it is SCARY!

Hey Mario, Would you like me to call the humane society on your human for shutting the door or would you rather I bring my big, bruiser of a kitty, Jabba, to have a little chat with her? LOL Happy Thursday. P.S. Jabba says he wishes he had a Drinkwell of his own!

How horrible! When Mommy showers, we like to sniff at the shower door but if Mommy opens the door, we're out of there...PRONTO!

meowmeowmans said...

Mario, that does sound pretty scary! Bu maybe you'll get used to the sound of that shower, and actually wait in the bathroom while your mom showers. Moosey always opens the bathroom door when we are taking showers -- letting all the cold air in. On a few occasions, he has even tried to come into the shower when it is on! :)

When will humans learn that the closing of any door (well, maybe the front door...) is not allowed?!
