King Of The Jungle - Thankful Thursday

Hi Pals,

Excuse me while I see if I can find that chippie - I saw him run in here.

Maybe I'd better sit down and wait for him.  He has to move sometime.

Might as well rest until that little guy shows himself.

I sure am Thankful M and D take me outside in a harness with leash cuz M says out of the 4 kitties they have had, the first one got to go outside on a leash and now me!  Guess I'm pretty special.

She also says if your pawparents don't let you outside, it's probably better cuz I ask to go out almost every day, and I don't understand when M says "No, not today Mario."   It also means that either  M or D have to sit outside with me so I don't get into trouble I guess.   They don't mind doing it cuz they are retired and have the time.

Thanks to @PepiSmartDog for hosting the blog hop again today.

Until next time

Mario

It sure looks like fun Mario, but the chippy might not think so!

Aren't the great outdoors wonderful buddy! We're very glad that you like going out in the yard w/ M & D!

We aren't allowed outside because we are supposedly "skittish." :-(

Mario, I'm the only one here that gets to go outside sometimes...always with harness and leash. Like you, I'm always asking to go out and I don't get to go nearly as much as I would like.

I'm glad you're always on a leash when you go out. It's dangerous for cats out there. Nicky used to go out and would stand at the back door crying all the time. TW said it was very annoying.

Lucky You, Our cat doesn't want to go outside, because our goats are really big!

Lucky you, Mario! So, did the Chippie reappear?? My Human used to take the boys before me out for walkies on a leash, but once she tried to put that thing on me and I ran SCREAMING in the opposite direction dragging the whole thing after me so now she doesn't try that anymore, MOL!

You are a pretty lucky kitty indeed! Your mom and dad are right about not going out all the time. It's kinda unsafe out there.

We much rather watch the outside from the catio. OR be outside WITHOUT a harness (to which Mommy says NO).

Did the chippie finally showed himself?

You sure are very lucky kitty, Mario, to get to go outside and enjoy nature safely. You do really great walking in harness. I hope chippie shows up again for you :-)

Hey, that's pretty neat. You get to go out sometimes. Jan used to have cats she took outside on a leash but now there are too many of us. :)

What a lucky kitty to get to go outside like that. I wish others in my neighborhood would do that with their's. Poor Oreo gets so frustrated with them prancing threw his yard and he can't play with them.

We get to go outside on special occasions, completely supervised, in our enclosed yard. But still, some of us kitties have to wear a leash and a harness for some unknown reason... ahem, Zoey and Kizmet.

Good luck catchin a Chippie! We cant get close to them.

We're thinking yer Bein might find the hole they live in iffen ya show them and put a rock down the hole when they re outside.

THAT would sure surprise them...

Well, did you catch the chippy? In the UK a chippy is slang for a fish & chip shop mol xox

We don't like Out There at all! Those of us who had to live there had enough of it, and those of us who didn't, have no desire to. The mom tried to walk Oui Oui on a leash one time and it was embarrassing dragging her around, because she refused to stand up or walk.

Hi Mario & Mom!
Isn't funny how Katie's mom loves that post? She has left 4 or 5 comments on that post and referred to it in others. I'm so glad someone really enjoyed it. I take a lot of pictures, probably more than a dozen for that post, then pick the best (and the in focus) ones.

I wanted to capture Oui Oui's assumed innocence each time I got out of bed because of her scratching and convey what she might have been thinking as well as the passage of time. She really is a character. She often looks me right in the eye while doing something she knows she shouldn't, like chewing on cords or plastic. I never know if its her sense of humor (which I'm sure she has) or she wants attention. Maybe both, but I lean towards her humor.

Maybe you need a GPS chippie-locator. We just read Easy's bloggie about geocaching. I bet he could help you find that impudent little rodent.

Oh Mario, you just have the best Mom and Dad to take you outside on a leash. We know you enjoy that. We sure hope you found that Chippy. Also hope that all of you have a great week end.

We also call them chippies here. We seem to see fewer nowadays than previously. We think a few feral kitties (we assume they are feral though they look very healthy) have clued in that the yards around here with rock walls are a chippie haven.

Yeah, Dad does the same thing with sitting on the deck with us. Sometimes for hours in a day though not continuously.!

And because they love you. We have our catio and so can go out almost everyday! Yippee! Did your chipmunk ever return? We don't have those, but we do have squirrels and lots of other critters. Enjoy your outside time. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Misty May, Mauricio, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo.
