No Way Am I A Tubby Tuxie #HillsPet

Hi Pals,

Did you know that 53% of dogs and 55% of cats in the US are considered overweight? That's more than half of the pet population.

The number of dogs has increased by almost 40% and the number of cats has increased by almost 90%  Gasp!

M and my vet lady say I was one of those Tubby Tuxies.   Last November our Vet Lady talked to M and suggested I try a new weight loss program:   Hill's Prescription Diet Metabolic Advanced Weight Solution.  The food is designed to speed up the metabolism and help give cats and dogs more energy. The pets are supposed to feel full and satisfied, but still lose weight.

Prior to starting this program,  M had been sneaky and had cut back a little on the amount of food she was feeding me.   She was NOT successful.  I did not lose weight.   This program seemed like the answer!  M was hesitant at first because she says I'm a picky eater.  She was afraid I would not like the food, but she agreed to try the program.

I LOVE the food and I can even eat the kibble.   (I had lost all my toothies to Stomotitis about 4 years ago.   M  always chose a kibble that was smaller in size so that I could still eat it.   I can easily chew this  kibble, although M says I really gum it to bits!  he he

We are very happy with the Hill's Prescription Diet Metabolic Advanced Weight Solution, and are pleased to be part of this campaign.

This post is sponsored by Hill's.  I am being compensated for helping spread the word about Hill's Prescription Diet Metabolic Advanced Weight Solution, but Mario's Meowsings only shares information we feel is relevant to our readers.   Hill's Pet Nutrition, Inc. is not responsible for the content of this article.

Here's a video that is cute but sad at the same time.  Unfortunately this video reminds M of how I was.  I didn't want to cooperate with anything involving activity.  Here's the Video of "One Big Kitty."

Since being on the Hill's Prescription Diet Metabolic Advanced Weight Solution program, I have more energy and like to play more than I did before.  I even get 2 treats a day on this program!  They are so yummy.   I feel better and M feels better knowing I'm slimming down.

Remember last weekend when I said I had good news?  Well, Hill's is giving away 10 Hill's® Prescription Diet® Metabolic Advanced Weight Solution trial kits for dogs or cats.  This is a $70 value.    BUT you MUST get your veterinarian's approval to get this kit. You will have to prove you have their approval.

Dang, that sounds so promising for my sisters until the Rx part. It takes us 40 minutes to get to our vet and that is a long way to go for food that they usually run out of when we need it. Oh well.

I could probably use it...sorry to say. Concatulations Mario on your weight loss to come. xoxoxox

That does look like some great food and we do have a couple of cats that could probably use it. With as many cats that live here, we probably couldn't afford to use it all the time. I would have to ask my vet too if they would approve without seeing the cat which they probably would do. But that was a great great review Mario.
So has the Mom been out dancing?? LOL

Mario, we're glad this food is working for you. So far, we've been maintaining our weight...so hopefully, we won't need to go on a d-i-e-t.

Avalon used to be fat too before he got sick. And I mean REALLY fat - ten kilos of pure delight. He was already like this when I found him on the street, and no way to make him lose weight, no matter how hard I tried.

That sounds like some great stuff, Mario. We're all kind of set with our foods and weight for now, so we won't enter this contest.

Big hugs!

Mario, concats on your weight loss! We are glad the program is working for you. We aren't sure if we need it or not. Oui Oui is a little "padded" but the vet didn't say she needed to lose weight.
