Where Are The Mousies!

Hi Pals,

Please excuse my back side, but it's pretty important that I keep patrolling for the mousies.

Two nights ago, about 2:00 a.m. (M says), she woke up like she many times does, got out of bed, and noticed me missing.   The found me with my head between the blinds, tail wagging, butt wiggling, and I was very intent on what I was seeing.

It was MOUSIES pals!   M turned the light on over the patio and nearly screamed - one mousie was climbing up the screen door between the house and outside of the patio.  Boy was it ever neat, and I was reaching up trying to get him down.    I really wanted M to open that patio door so I could get out there and catch me a mousie!   She wouldn't open it for me!  Humans can be so mean sometimes.

Now, of you will excuse me, I need to get back on patrol.  Maybe tonight is the night I'll catch me a mousie!

Mario

Oh my, mousie climbing up the screen! It must have been quite exciting! I hope the mousie will come back for you and maybe next time you will get it :-)

How exciting for you, but maybe not for Mom. Catching the mouse would be fun but that means it has to be in the house and you'd be exposed to it's mousie germs. I think just watching it might be a better idea.

OMC! TW says when it’s cold and snowy all the schmousies want to come inside. You should have invited it in to warm up. Heh heh.

How exciting, Mario! Maybe one of those mousies will make the mistake of actually getting IN the house, and then you can really show your human your hunting prowess!

And you have snow! OMC.

Parker is sharpening his claws for the house mousie migration this weekend. Old houses = exciting rodents

Oh my goodness, Mario! I know that the Deer Mice have been trying to build forts in Bill's tool drawers. Of course, no one is out in the garage to "take care" of it. I am sure not going to evict them.

OMC! A for real live mousie? How exciting. I've never seen a for real mousie, just our toy ones. You're so lucky to see it. Maybe next time you'll catch that mousie!

Stripey won't chase mousies, but she'll point at bugs. Good job keeping the mousies out of the house, Mario. I'm sure M appreciates that!

Wow, Mario. How lucky you are. We don't have any mousies here. If you need some help patrolling let us know.

We must be really lucky because we sometimes actually get mousies in the house. When that happens, we hunt as a pack, which is pretty unusual, and the ending is seldom a good one for the mousie.
