Annual Visit to the Dreaded Vet

Hi Pals,

Do you see anything wrong with the picture?   Well it was taken about 9 months ago when we were still living in the house.   But that dreaded carrier came with us to the apartment, and I got put into it on Friday to make a trip to the dreaded vet.  (M says I shouldn't say dreaded vet, cuz we have a very nice vet lady - but she's not the one getting poked and prodded!)

No there isn't anything wrong with me.   My peeps insist I go to the vet at least once a year for a check up.   Makes no sense to me when I'm feeling great.  But you know how our peeps are - they like to create a problem!

M meant to take the camera with her, but in the excitement of  trying to get me loaded into the car, she forgot all about it.    Who wants to see a picture of me being groped and prodded anyway.  We do have this one tho and this is exactly what I did the minute they let me out of the carrier:

Vet lady said all was well.    M asked her about taking a probiotic since I'm a senior now.   She is going to prescribe something and M  will go pick it up when it comes in.

Whew - I got that visit over with for another year.  I hate this trip even more now that we moved across town and have to travel a highway to get there.   I don't like going real fast in a car or to have noisy trucks zooming by us.  It's very scary for a little kitty.  But M says there really isn't any other way to get there  and I will survive it.  How does she know??

Mario

Mario...that last two sentences made my mommy laugh but not sure why she did. Your wondering made her smile, is what she explained to me.

I hope you get the same type of probiotics. They are available on Amazon too if you need them.

I love that deluxe carrier! Wouldn't it be great if you lived where there are sidewalks? You might be able to persuade D to take you for a walkie! xx

Poor guy! But at least you're safe for another year. (At least, that's the line my mom uses on us.) We don't blame you for not liking the ride. It's very lucky for us that we live so close to our vet that Mom could walk us there! (In fact, when she got some bad car news this summer, Mom thought she could strap a troll box to the little luggage dolly to get Caroline there. Good that it really didn't come to that!)

Hey, Mario. We're sorry you had to go to the vet, but we're glad you check out good. Y'know, as much as us cats hate going to the vet, it's important that we do go so if we do have a problem, they can be caught and dealt with early. By the way, we really like your carrier. Is it a rolling one? Where did M get it?

We're sorry you had to go to the dreaded vet but we are happy you got a good report. Our mommy had a vet come to our house last week. Talk about awful! We've been on Fortiflora probiotics for over a year now and it helps us feel good!

So glad you survived that ordeal, Mario. We had our vet visits recently, too, and like you, we got a good report. Thank cod!

There is NO escaping the PTU carrier!!!

M gives us a probiotic called Fortiflora and we love it! She says that "The Cats Who Came Before" loved it too. It makes the foods we don't like much more yummy and appealing -- especially that stuff that the vet says Phinny has to eat. Keeps us regular and our tummies happy.

So glad you are doing ok and she didn't mention the diet word. TW is afraid to add probiotics to my food as I'm such a funny eater.

You know, if you didn't hide problems so well you wouldn't need to go to the vet ;) I know I know, you can't help yourself. No cat can
