There is something in there dat moves! |
This week's Anipal Photo Hunt by @Cokiethecat is "What The Heck Is That."
About a year ago my ooman sisfur stopped at our house with this big see-through box to show M and D. M did a "no no" and put me up on the table so I could get a better look.
I think I need to get closer tho!
Hm, most interesting - two little things that look like the outside mousies. |
Maybe if I put my nose right on the glass I can see better.! |
I sure would like to get in there!
Sisfur says their names are Cena and Pronzo (Italian names meaning "lunch" and "dinner.") Yes, they would make good lunch and dinner. But, my peeps and sisfur won't let me have dem. I can only watch. Not FAIR!!
I has been to sisfur's house a few times to stay since these little guys started to live there. One day Sisfur saw this:
Hmm, there must be a way I can get in der! |
Who me! I'm not doing nothing up here! |
Sad to say pals, I never did get into dat box thing to get those Gerbils. M and Sisfur tell me I can only watch dem - not play with or eat!!
NOT FAIR! I'm a cat! It's only natural for me to invite Lunch and Dinner over for a meal don't you think? (Licking my chops with the thought!)

Oh Mario...I fink you need to have Lunch and Dinner to lunch..and dinner!! It's so simple. Just tell Momma that you're inviting them over to your dining area. hehehehe. (know what I mean, Jellybean?)
Mario,
You sure look determined. It would be a shame if you couldn't have Lunch and Dinner over. They certainly look nommy. Oh well, guess you will have to be contented to look.
(((SMOOCHIES)))
Tippy and Penny
Yea Mario, but if you had lunch and dinner for lunch and dinner you wouldn't have anything fun to watch!
You need to call in reinforcements like my sis, Sydney. She do be a dog but she thinks she be a mouser. She would come and knock that rite ofur (coz she is a dog and bigger and stronger than you) and get those mousies but then she would not share with you so mebbe not such a good idea.
Whoa! Lunch and dinner—someone has a sense of humor or irony—in one container. Now that's service. What you need is either a can opener or a bottle opener. Hmmm, maybe a glass cutter. I'll look around and see if I have one. If'n I do, the price is one gerbil mouse.
If I were you I will do everything in my power to eat them..hee..heh..heh...look fat and yummy !
This is too cute! I understand your fascination with those mices, Mario. How can they expect you to contain yourself when there are rodents around?
Those little gerbils are really cute and would make a nice snack. But you wouldn't like something bigger than you making a snack our of you. They are cute. Glad you didn't hurt them.
Oh Mario, you made me hungry with your post!
Oh Mario, too bad you couldn't get a little closer to lunch and dinner!!
Once a cat, always a cat.
Hi Mario. I love the name of these little guys...Lunch and Dinner!! But it is too sad that you can not have them. You can get so close to them but can never touch...it is really unfair.
Yep, my boy John has 2 rats that come here & freak out me & my 2 kittie sisters too. We really should be allowed to "meet" them out of the cage!
Nubbin wiggles,
Oskar
I'm with ya buddy - it's not fair! I mean with names like that, what do they expect? Sheesh, peeples are silly...name 'em 'food times' and put 'em on the table....to me that says, NOM
This is pawesome, Mario, but it's not linked to the Photo Hunt! Link 'er up!
Lunch and Dinner, what a cruel joke. I see humor runs in your family! MOL
