Whew, I'm glad that's over for a month. I got carted to the vet on Monday to get weighed because of the Hills Metabolic Advanced Weight Loss diet I'm on. Well, guess what - I GAINED .2. Yup! It wasn't my fault either because M is the one who puts the food on my plate. It's supposed to be her job to keep track of what she feeds me, and she's slipping on her job. She admits it too.
Sadly, I'm going to be the one who pays for it. Now she's watching me like some Hawk! I don't know why you have to watch hawks, and I certainly don't know why she has to watch me! She's measuring everything and counting how many servings of wet I get. Then she measures the kibble and doesn't even mound it up anymore! Not Fair!
Today I got to sit in the open window for whiffies for 15 minutes, and when M closed the window I zoomed through the house like a herd of elephants (according to M). I did that 3 times. Now with all that exercise I got, I think I deserve more kibble don't you? Well, I'm NOT getting any more she says.
I'm thankful for my humans. I really do love them. But sometimes I don't think they are fair with me! i'm also thankful I got the trip to the vet over with for a month.

Oh no Mario, that is terrible that now you get less to eat. Yikes. Do you want us to send you some extra foods?? We certainly think that after all that exercise, you should get more food. Hope you have a better day.
Welcome to our world, Mario! All our food is strictly portion controlled (well, except for me - I get to eat as much as I want because I am underweight). But then, both Binga and Boodie weigh exactly what they should, so I guess it works.

Oh Mario! We all hate Diets! Poor deprived boy! Mama has a trick she uses on Pixel, she saves back a small portion of her kibble at meals & then gives her little kibble treats throughout the day. Pixel seems 2 think this is just peachy!

Poor Mario! We have a friend named Chase on the metabolic diet, too, and it's helping him lose weight, but he sure doesn't like being limited to how much he can eat, either!!

TW thought I was gaining weight so she cut back on my food. Then she found out a LOST weight. I thought that food is supposed to make you run and exercize.
Aw, buddy! I feel your pain--you look just PURRfect to me--a nice soft, normal sized kitty. Maybe someone's a little too quick to use that F-word is what *I* think!
