Hi Pals,
Well, which art work do you prefer - the bottom one, which is the original photo or the top photo, which was doctored up in Photoshop Elements 10, or the middle one, again doctored up in Photoshop Elements 10. We could have gone on and used about 20 other options in Photoshop, but decided this was enough to give us an idea on how the same photo would look doctored up by two different means. It's kinda fun playing around with this stuff, if one only has the time (says M).
Now for the up date on my swatting skills. I'm embarrassed to say that I still haven't caught the bug, but I might have scared him off because no one has seen him now for about 4 days and all signs warning visitors of the "bug" have now been removed. He was a nasty bug, and I'm happy M & D didn't have to be stung by him. Apparently I at least chased him out of the apartment.
I'm joining Athena CatGoddesses Caturday Blog Hop. Go over to Athena's blog and hop around to see lots of beautiful pieces of art work. Athena has a stunning piece this week - go check it out.

We like the dark strokes effect best because it shows up your handsome face more!

We are more into real pictures, but those other 2 are interesting!
I like the third one the best since I am into real pictures too. Good job Mario, getting rid of the bug. You all have a great day and my best to M and D.
Mario, you look handsome in any photo, including all of these! We do like how striking your furs are in the second one. And fantastic job scaring off that pesky, invisible bug!
You're looking darn good Mario! Great job on the BugBusting too Mario, we're proud of you!!!
you done a great job both with the art AND with the bug. Unfortunately TW seems to have been bitten with something. She's coughing sneezing the nose blowing all over the place.
Love the special effects on the "doctored" versions but I really DO like the "original" thing the bestest!
Hugs, Angel Sammy
p.s. We had a fly in the house which Teddy TRIED for two days to murder but couldn't....this morning we discovered the fly had passed away from natural causes (or starvation!) without any help from Teddy!
don't hate me but I prefer the bottom one! It's so pretty! YAY about that "bug" leaving the area! catchatwithcarenandcody
I like them all, Mario, but I think the cutout is my favorite! I am so glad to hear the bug did not make it into your house.
The last one is the one in which we can see your beautiful eyes best so that is our favourite, Mario!
Purrs,
The Chans
First off, I love your St. Patty's Day header. I also like all your art, but I like the 2nd one best because it makes your blacks look very sleek. That is a bug you don't want to catch, be glad it left the building.
The dark strokes definitely shows your sweet face better! I'm so glad your peeps didn't get the bug!
Mario we like all three very much!
Happy Caturday!
All three are pretty cool, Mario, but we think the dark strokes one really shows off your black and white coloring well. We're glad you haven't caught that bug. We hear that bug could really be nasty.
Caturday Art is one of our mom's favorite things to do. She loves tinkering with and creating something arty out of our photos. Our favorite of the above is the middle one. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo and Cooper Murphy
All three versions are very nice, but I think that I like the original the best. :)
It is a lot of fun to play around with the various editing programs and filters. I love it.
Have a blessed day!
I like the cutout version best. It gives sort of a graphic-novel effect that I like. I hope you scared that bug away for good!
Mario your original photo is...well, gorgeous....you are so much the muscley mancat. The art is well done and adds another dimension to you. No, I don't mean your fat but alive.
Kitty Kisses,
Kali
Elements seem to have some nice filters :)
Mario, we like all the pictures 'cuz you look so debonair. Nice to meet you and thanks for visiting our blog. Do you know we're neighbors? We live in Minnesota so we're next to you! We enjoy your blog and told Mom we have to subscribe. Have a great week!
Stereo purrs............Hemingway and Steinbeck
so very brave of you to chase away that awful bug!!
I like them all too. I am with Marg though in that I love the third one best because I can see your sweet face best of all. Love and Hugs to you dear Mario.
We simply loved them all!! We think you're a super talented kitty and that you should have your own art show!!

The dark strokes filter enhances your markings - which are already so handsome.
I hope you can keep that big bug away. It would be awful if your Mom & Dad got sick! Luckily, only a nasty cold bug went around here. I slept with mom on the couch for two nights because she had to stay propped up to breathe.
You scared that bug away!! Good work! And we think all the pics are fun, but somehow we like seeing you the way you truly are...which of course is handsome!
