WOW - I have so much to be thankful for on this Thankful Thursday.
I'm so thankful that we got abandoned kitty Jamie to his new home in Hollywood Florida and on time at that - even with a hurricane passing by the day before the caravan left. It was such an exciting Sunday on Twitter. And you should have heard (or seen) the cheers go up when Dorian tweeted that, @MizzBassie's human had Jamie. Dorian tweeted the above picture. It brought tears to M's eyes and also the the human eyes of many of my pals. @MizzBassie has tweeted several times that Jamie is doing well, and she has also sent many pictures showing Jamie in the same picture with one or more of her other kitties. She said they are establishing their ruling order with only a few hisses and growls, but no big fights to date. Like several of us already knew, Jamie is a very laid back kitty and doesn't get riled up easily. I just know he's going to fit into that family very well. Once again, thank you to everyone involved in finding Jamie a new home or getting Jamie to his new home, and special thanks to MizzBassie's human for taking him. Our animal group rocks both on Twitter and also the blogosphere. We did it again!
It's really been quite a week hasn't it. I'm very thankful that nasty hurricane is over. The next morning we were kept busy checking in with our friends on Twitter that live in the hurricane area, making sure everyone was okay. We will be very Thankful if we never see another hurricane like that again - ever!

I am SO grateful that Jamie got a home and that our Anipals and furriends on the CB were instrumental in getting him to his new mom and home. What a fabulous feeling. xox
It's so very, very, VERY WONDERFUL that Jamie is safe and sound in his new home. He's gonna be so happy there... I just know it! Mario, you and the others who were involved, did such a great job in gettin' the word out 'bout this lovely boy. We all owe you, buddy. You gave us a happy ending! And I just LOVE a happy ending. Yoo-hoo! YOO-HOO!!!
Yea!!! Glad all went well with the caravan and that the kitty is happy in the new home.

That was such a terrific day, the day that Jamie spent with all those wonderful people going to his new home. It brought tears to Mom's eyes several times. It is just awesome that so many people took time out of their days to help out. And Mario, your Mom was the best keeping all of us posted on the trip etc. Take care.

We kept praying that we wouldn't lose power until Jamie got to his new home. It was a nice distraction to all going on around us.

Unfortunately, hurricanes will be here with us for a long time! Our mom can't count the number of ones that have come visiting us. Al least most of them are remnants by the time they get to us, but that just means headaches for someone else.
So excited to see that picture of Jamie!! He's a bigger boy than I thought from the other picture I've seen! I bet they're all having a grand time! So great that so many people came together for this!
