Furminated Fursday

Hi Pals,

Dat's me sitting in my 2nd favorite place - my window perch dat D made for me.   I love napping here, especially if my oomans don't provide me with a lap.    It's the next best place to nap if I can't have a lap.

That dang M thinks when I'm up here tho that she should get a couple of swipes on me with the furminator.  I HATE THAT THING!  Now I'm a pretty good natured guy until M gets that FURMINATOR out and starts pulling my furs right off my body.   She says I'm full of hair.  Well - DUH!  I'm a cat.   I'm supposed to have a fur coat!  If she wants a bald cat, she should get one of those dat don't has any furs.   Geesh - oomans can be so dumb at times.     One of these days I'll get my revenge - just wait and see.

We're scared of the furminator too. Actually, we've never seen one because mom is afraid of it and won't buy one to try on us. We like our comb, natural bristle brush, and Zoom Groom (rubber brush thing). You're a pretty big boy so I bet you could carry that evil Furminator off somewhere and hide it.

But, but - I LOVE being FURminated!

Hey, Mario...I don't know about FURMINATOR but I did search, and then I just saw how evil of this thing ! !!! Scary !!! Lucky my mom just got me a normal brush which I love it ! Especially when dad does it for me, I purrs and purrs, I even lift my arm for him to do it. My one, Mom said it's so darn cheap only A$ 5. : )

Yes, that's a formidable window perch and yes, that Furminator thing is horible. I totally agree with you Mario, I don't like it either. I enjoy being brushed with my normal brush so it's really the bad F's fault.

I HATE it when Mom tried to brush anything other than my head and back a little. I have mats in my sides that she wants to remove.

Hi Mario, It doesn't hurt, does it? M is just trying to take care of you so you don't get too warm and your fur doesn't get matted. You have such pretty silky fur...purrrsss.

Hi, Mario, me again. I just wanted to respond to your comment about us on the deck without harnesses. Mom and Dad have the stairway blocked off with plastic mesh so we are confined unless e choose to try to escape by jumping over the mesh, or up onto the railing next to the stairs. The deck is one story up so we can't really jump off it. But they do always supervise us closely because Simba is sneaky and goes over the mesh if he can get away with it. He mostly then sticks close to the house foundation, sniffing the bushes but they still worry about him getting lost and follo after him right away to bring him back. As far as Audrey is concerned they would worry a lot about her getting out, which is why she almost always wears a harness, which makes her only want to move by belly crawling.

We don't like that furminator thingy either Mario. We do let the Mom brush us and use the flea comb on us.We especially like the comby thing.
And also we wanted to tell you that Brian only lives an hour from us and he did send the police over here to see if we were all right.
Hope all of you have a very fine and happy day.

I don't like the furminator either. In fact, since Maine Coons furs don't tangle, I don't understand why I have to be brushed at all. I love my furs and I hate when mom takes them.

HAH! That's a funny post! I won a Furminator at last month's PawPawty that hasn't come yet. (Or has it, and I sent it back.)
