Caturday Art Blog Hop with Athena The Cat Goddess & Goodbye House

Hi Pals,

I is somewhat sad today cuz the peeps told me our house has been officially sold now.  The peeps attended the "closing" on Thursday.   We can't ever go back there.   That makes me a little bit sad because I used to get outside there and loved the back yard.    I haven't asked to go out yet in our apartment.  M said she isn't asking me either because she does not want to start that up again.   It's okay tho cuz I have gotten used to it here.  It's nice having M and D on the same floor cuz we have no basement for D to go to.  He and I would do "guy" stuff while down there.  he he

My art work today was done in PiZap once again.   We used an Organic Overlay in the Overlay section.  PiZap is easy to use and fun at the same time.   Give it a try some time.

We're joining Athena and Marie's Caturday Art Blog Hop.

Sometimes it's sad when a house sells. But the last time my human had a house sell - about 10 years ago this month, in fact! - she was HAPPY because she hated that house and it took a couple months longer to unload than she wanted and she had to lower the price a couple of times. But it's different when a house has a lot of good memories.

Hi Mario! I bet before long you'll find some fun spots in the apartment to hang out and do "guy stuff" - being in an apartment is different than a house I'm sure though. I've lived here in this house my whole life so I can't imagine moving. I hope we don't! We pretty much ONLY use Pizap.....we love it!

Hugs, Sammy

Beautiful art. It is hard to say goodbye to a place you lived in for so long, but the important thing is that you are all together.

Wonderful art. Some people make friends with the people who buy their houses so they can visit. TW has nightmares about going back and sneaking in and getting caught. Hope your buyers don't rip it apart and totally change it like our's did. They paved over the gorgeous yards.

Mario you look totally kissable there with all your softest furs and pink toes showing. I'll be right over! xoxo

Oh, Mario, we know how you feel. Granny was in tears when she heard that our house was sold too. It makes it so... final, even if we live here already for more than a year. Your artwork is very beautiful. Pawkisses for a Happy Day :) <3

It can be difficult to let go of familiar things, but I'm glad you are settled into your new home and you're enjoying it there. Even without a basement, I'm sure you and your dad will find a spot where you can do guy stuff.

You created a very handsome portrait of yourself.

Your art is so lovely, Mario. And I know that selling your old home might be bittersweet, but the most important thing is that you and your peeps are all together!

That is a lovely and wintry art, Mario. Very nice!

Hope you and your Dad will find a room in your new den to do that 'guy' stuff. Don't forget to do some Mom time too,MOL!! We know of course you will give her lots of kitty time too:)
